Biography

I am particularly interested in MAP Kinase 4 from Arabidopsis, which plays a key role in Plant tolerance towards biotic and abiotic stress. Structural and functional characterization of MAP Kinase family proteins, which are responsible for plant immunity and stress tolerance. I will be using X-ray crystallography and other Biophysical techniques to study its interactions with other binding partners such as Proteins, DNA, etc and which will help me to understand the biological function of MAP Kinase 4 in transferring the information to other components in the cell, when it is stimulated by phosphorylation.
