Biography

Emily is a visiting student from UBC Canada, studying biophysics. She previously worked on characterizing amyloid fibrils using AFM and SEM, optimizing a cryo-EM imaging protocol for hydrogels, and characterizing reaction kinetics of RNA-ASO complexes and RNA-hairpin systems. She hopes to pursue research in the structural or synthetic biological fields, using approaches based on using physics and computational models.
