Alexandra Vancea, Brandon Huntington, Afaque Momin, Umar Shahul Hameed, and Prof.Stefan Arold, along with their collaborators in CDA , have published a study revealing new insights into how plants communicate. Their article, “Hidden Flexibility in Plant Communication Revealed,” is now featured in KAUST Discovery.
The study sheds light on the sophisticated ways plants respond to environmental cues and interact with each other, challenging previous assumptions about plant behavior. This research could have far-reaching implications for agriculture, ecology, and understanding plant resilience in changing environments.
